Currently been in the ER for 13 hours. After moderately good care by the day staff the night staff has been absolutely horrible. I have been calling in extreme pain for 2.5 hours and they said someone would come. Now they just hang up when I call to ask for help. Still In extreme pain and no one cares here.
I was in the Er a few weeks ago and I told the person taking care of me that something hurt and they did nothing but look for bruising there was none and they did no further testing to see if anything else was going on in that area
CENTRA STATE IS BY FAR THE WORST HOSPITAL EVER. ITS WHERE THEY SEND THE NURSE REJECTS. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THE PATIENTS THERE. ITS TERRIBLE. WHAT A HELL HOLE. A FAMILY MEMBER WAS THERE RECENTLY AND WE COULDNT GET THEM OUT FAST ENOUGH. STAY AWAY. THEY DONT EVEN DESERVE 1STAR.
I came in on a Friday afternoon for appendicitis and within a few hours it was out! I did not think I was going to find a Surgeon on a Friday night, nevertheless a good surgeon, who would take care of it asap! I was out and home the next morning. The nurses and staff were so helpful and kind. I am so thankful.
I would recommend Centra State Hospital. Very caring and compassionate staff. 2nd year resident Dr. Shonte Fraser is the most efficient dr. Well done.
Great hospital.
