Do not count on getting the majority of your deposit back. We were notified that $364.00 was being taken out of our deposit for painting of the home as well as $495.00 for cleaning. I emailed David to ask how Central Texas Property Management was substantiating their claim to $859.00 of our deposit for cleaning/maintenance on the property, especially after we had already paid a cleaning company $216.50 to do a more thorough clean after our move out. I’ve spent days Googling rental companies, but so many reviews seemed fake. Let me tell you which one isn’t: Central Texas Property Management. ***Renter beware…*** The only star goes to Angelina. Stay away from David, straight a*&…We only stayed 1 year in a home they managed. The home was very nice and we treated it as if it were our own. Unfortunately, we had issues with a racist homeowner and after being requested to move out, we had issues with the move out inspection. First they charged us for a burnt out light bulb even though it was working when we moved out. I've been living here for almost a year and I gotta tell you, I don't want to go anywhere else unless its through this company. I fell sick and was not working and my short term disability dried up QUICK! Because of that I got behind CenTex did what they are suppose to do if you don't pay rent and sent me a 3 day notice! I panic but then I read"we want to help you stay in your home" and they are true to that statement all you have to do is keep in contact and make reasonable arrangements to pay you balance. I’ve never been with such an understanding, kind, patient rental company. With times like these, money can be tight & they’re always willing to communicate & work with you on paying rent. I appreciate CT property management so much for their professionalism but also humanity & understanding. Leah Seyler is one of the best rental company admin I’ve ever communicated with. You get treated like a real human being with this rental company. One of the best hands down.
