Having transferred my care from an out of state LGBTQ wellness center to COWC I was expecting to feel the same support and inclusive environment I experienced the past 25 years with my previous experience, hardly the case here. Very poor care--I was misgendered by staff consistently, for one thing. Staff constantly did my testosterone shots wrong, leading to pain and stiffness. I was led by staff to make this clinic my PCP, but then was provided with incredibly substandard care. Doctors refused to help with my chronic pain, gave me conflicting advice, and my request for a cane was shuffled around so much that I never got one.
