Amedisys has two nurses, Vanessa and Maya, who are exceptional. But their process is different from other in home nursing assistance companies I have used before. Every time my doctor would have to write another order to extend my care, Amedisys REQUIRED me to have a "supervisory visit" by an RN in order to "start" a new order extension. This is ridiculous! Central Home Health Care provided nursing care, occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech therapy for my brother in our home. The care from each specialist was outstanding ! Kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. Appointment times were kept and the communication was great. My brother definitely improved under their guidance.
