APPLICANT BEWARE!!!! This company has been a headache to deal with from beginning to end. They are the type of business where everything is automated and they make it impossible to get anyone real on the phone that can actually help you. I give you no stars! I only give one star because I can't submit the review without it!! I am a property owner. I have been with your company now for years. Everything was great until you went to all email interaction. I never get replies I've been asking for the status on a repair and as it turns out it has been at least three weeks since I got the notice that something had to be repaired. Worst rental company ever. Can't talk to anyone. All in writing. They do not respond to maintenance issues. I've been waiting over a month. Then they want to charge me. Nickel & dime you to death. Do not EVER rent or buy from them

***** please be honest with people in your review. The reality is that you violated the terms of your lease and owed money as a result. You didn't want to pay what you clearly owed, so you thought you would just slander us here. We have communicated with you continually throughout, answering every question you have had. You just did not like the answers because it is our job to enforce the lease, and you did not abide by the lease. I hope potential landlord clients read this and see that GTL always enforces the lease.

This company is the epitome of scam and unprofessionalism. Not only did they erroneously bill us for something that the lease clearly spells out as the tenant's responsibility (THEY EVEN ADMITTED TO THIS!!!). They have also been trying to nickel and dime us with fees with NO EXPLANATION the same month our agreement ends with them. This is why it is so important to hire an experienced landlord/tenant attorney rather than a general practice attorney when dealing with these sorts of issues. An attorney who deals in landlord/tenant matters every day could tell you that the CARES Act placed a new 30 day notice period into law for evictions. The Act did not have... read more
I am on the verge of losing my house now due to GTL Real Estate scam. **** Purposely gives only 1 year lease charges me almost 8000 every year for unnecessary repairs most of them he never perform. He also charges the tenant who's leaving as well money that he keeps for himself, I will be joining the class action lawsuit as well please send me more details.
When my air-conditioning went out, I had to submit an online request to have this fixed. It took two days for someone to get back to me. It took them another week to send someone out to take a look at it. All in all it took two weeks to get my air-conditioning fixed. This company is scamming people out of hard earned money. Especially in this COVID era we are living in... they are collecting multiple applications and fees on the select few properties they have only to send out happy approval letters and next steps emails...to every applicant ... then the next step never comes and it takes 2 days to get a call back and being told they have leased to someone else and offer an apology.. and say that the fees are non refundable even when they cannot provide a property....
My husband and I applied for a property through this company, and got denied for negative rental history which we don't have. I tried reaching out to the company GTL several times to resolve this issue but kept getting the run around. I got in touch with a representative and was told a property manager would call me, that was three days ago.. I didn't want to leave a bad review but because I feel scammed out of my application fee and never received adequate help I had no other recourse.

Ms. ****** has three evictions on her record from Brooklyn, all three of which have a large unpaid balance as a judgment amount. We sent an adverse action letter letting you know of the reason for the denial. I'm sorry, but our rental criteria are listed very clearly on our application. You knew before applying that this was a disqualifying item. You were not "scammed."
