2023. One of their therapists refused to list a diagnosis of ADHD per my primary doctor, this therapist also didn’t know what CPTSD is!! oh 2025 guess what autistic!! I left Centerstone during DBT therapy in 2024 because I was told I couldn’t miss any sessions, as I was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Yet one dude had just missed because he of being out in jail for DUI…. So I chose fight for My life!!! Chemotherapy over DBT.
Do not come here if you are autistic and do not send your autistic loved ones here. I was so hopeful about recovery when I came but after being here and the mental hospital they sent me to I don't feel I have hope left. Before I checked in I was told they didn't have a great track record with autistic people and I didn't understand what they meant.
