My daughter started the intensive outpatient program (IOP) in March this year. From the very beginning, it was pushed on both of us to enroll in the more expensive partial hospitalization program, which was not recommended by her healthcare provider. They also advertised group family sessions, but we had attended just one the first week before we were told that they would not be continued until further notice. I had to give myself several month away to recover from this place before I could give it a proper review. I will say half the staff there genuinely care and are doing everything they can to help those who enter here for treatment. The other half do not belong working in a human services job. They just don’t. They don’t have the ability to show empathy or understanding and it showed. I was an adult there, who could leave whenever I wanted.
