Would recommend to anyone struggling mentally or emotionally. Covered by my insurance and has changed my family for the better.
Center for Discovery was helpful in supporting progress with an eating disorder, and some staff members clearly care about their clients. However, in our experience, the program was not equipped to manage more complex, dual-diagnosis needs. Communication with family and emergency contacts was inconsistent, which made difficult situations even harder to navigate. I hope the center strengthens its coordination and support for clients who require a higher level of clinical oversight.
I spent 2 months in this treatment center. I can only speak for the ED side but what I can say it is the farthest thing from individualized treatment. They do not focus on helping you recover, no matter what ed you have they just want to stuff your face and supplement you. They spend so much time censoring individuals and preventing people getting triggered instead of teaching someone how to handle being triggered.
