I attended CFD for about 7 months in 2024–2025, and while the experience was life-changing, it wasn’t perfect. The staff—mainly therapists and dietitians—did a great job teaching me DBT, CBT, and other mental health tools I still use to improve myself and my relationships. They supported me when I couldn’t support myself and helped create a strong sense of community through group therapy, outdoor walks, cooking, expressive arts, and more. Very warm welcoming , staff is amazing and advocates for their patients. Both Directors at this location are amazing. Definitely do highly recommend this facility.
It was a absolutely comforting place and a very welcoming place for people of all types. I remember coming in with depression and a whole lot of anxiety. I remember I rarely talked and always really shy about things. But after being there and experiencing and learning things I wasn't able to before, I was able to open my shell a bit and be who I really am inside.
