Love this place — eat dinner here almost every time I come to Escondido.
Great food, creative approaches, friendly staff who will help with gluten free needs, and very affordable. Try the roasted chile relleno or the huge fish taco.

Outstanding atmosphere. Great service for the location. Small and kind of hidden, but thats what adds to the atmosphere. Food is outstanding and can only be fresh for what you get. Large portions and great prices. And they have take out in case they have a full house. We will definitely eat here again.
Having take out, cenote grilled chicken burrito, and it's yummy!
The best food ever, you have to try the BBQ pulled pork burrito or the chicken lime salad, whoever gives them less than a 4 stars has no taste buds
