Small restaurant, GREAT EATING. Excellent selection of Mexican delicacies. Very affordable. Friendly, outstanding service. Make reservations.
The food was fresh, starting with the house made chips. The salsa, green and red were perfectly balanced. The quesadilla app was crisp and full with perfect guacamole (only salt and avo). The carnitas con queso was more than I could eat and I made two meals after that heated up wonderfully. $39 for the two of which included 1/2 litre of margaritas. Good meal overall, we will be back!

Always great food and always busy. If you do during prime hours you will probably have a wait. Worth it tho.. we have been going since it opened and will go back.
I love the fire roasted stuffed chili relleno. Fantastic.
The best chile problano soup ever ever. Followed by the best burrito stuffed with a poblano chile relleno, as well as carne asada fresh pinto beans rice and cheese with pico de gallo and cilantro to top it off. Service is excellent as are prices and it is our new favorite place in Escondido when we are in town. Innovative Mexican fare that is sure to delight anyone who loves delicious food without all the fried fat and grease. Clean tasting food!
The food was great. Tasty, hot and plentiful! The service was attentive. This was our first time and certainly not our last!
