I had a frustrating experience with the billing practices at Cedars-Sinai Orthopaedics. I went in for a simple new patient consultation to check out a knee issue. It was just a normal appointment, nothing urgent or surgical, so I expected to pay my $55 specialist copay like I usually do with Blue Shield. Dr. Milton Little spent less than 5 minutes in appointments with me. They overcharge for x-ray services. Their billing department has been a nightmare to navigate and have them return a phone call.

Got referred here from the urgent care for my sprained ankle. The doctor simply felt my foot and said ok it’ll heal on its own. Then a few weeks later I got hit with a bill for $1,381 for “surgery” and an “operating room.” I did not have surgery nor was I in an operating room. I contacted them and they said the doctors are simply contracted by Cedars Sinai and are “free to set their own prices” and that “manipulating my foot” aka touching it was justification for the bill. Never got the chance to see a doctor here. Whoever takes new patient appointments calls not professional was dropped in mid conversation after saying i have an HSA plan then when I was reconnected heard attitude in there tone won't be using cedars for anything after this really wanted to since I work down the street.
