Refreshing New (to LA) Face of Italian from UK – Came for opening week lunch. Was really delighted by the light touch influencing most dishes we ate and observed. One of my favorites was the Ahi tartar, wonderful with mint and tossed with your preferences of treatments. Drinks were mixed with care. Even the arnold palmer was perfect. Great spot!! – The con is not the restaurants fault....Had to make a reservation a week in advance to get a table on Friday night. Which in hind sight, should have gone on a different night. Every valley wanna-be getting whiplash everytime someone walked in the door.and every girl wearing a fake Herve Leger dress. Oh well...the service was very professional.
