I chose to rent from this company because of their semi-high google reviews. Unfortunately, they are as bad as many other companies I have rented from. Before I moved in, I had trouble setting up my water. I emailed to ask them how to do it, and they verbatim responded with "no need to set up your water, we confirmed with the owner they will be paying for it." My experience with Courtney, the Director of C and C, is that is very thorough and patient. Her experience in the industry means that she knows all the ins and outs and makes your life so much easier. Rental is a tough industry to be in, a very demanding job and one that never stops. She is very innovative with her approach and is always ensuring that she is being efficient in what she does. She always has a listening ear for her landlords and tenants. Don't use this company! I secured a rental through VRBO. C&C contacted me and told me if I back out of the VRBO, I could rent the same house through them and save money. In the end they told me since I paid $180 for a cleaning fee up front I didn't need to clean when we left. The place was quite clean when we left and yet they charged me $315! If you are looking for a rental that is in disrepair, overpriced, and likely uninhabitable, look no further than C&C. As a bonus you will get agents who have no idea what California law says about tenants rights, who refuse to call back when issues arise, and who cheat you out of your deposit for issues that have nothing whatsoever to do with your tenancy.

Be extremely careful when you move out. Do a walk-through with someone or take photographs because they charge for items that care impossible to dispute!!

I'm still wondering if this company is legit or if a scams going on...? Worst customer service experience I've received in years. I'm perplexed on people giving them more than one star - maybe they had better C&C employees, or company was under different management? Rented a short term rental for $3500. They called to say it was double booked and they had to refund us. Still have not seen the refund almost 3 weeks later "Remle" confirmed he emailed me screenshots of the refund but he never did. Unprofessional, don't call you back, don't know what they're doing & what a "property management co." is suppose to do. 1. Didn't do a move in walkthrough, left random keys on the counter with no explanation & couldn't find the key to get it! 2. They have a 6 month walkthrough so I set the time and told him I wanted to be there so they showed up a day early unannounced without permission. 3. The best decision I made with respect to property managers. Owners and staff are very competent, efficient and deliver the services with utmost consideration. I sleep well because of them. I strongly recommend them.
