My time at Cayaba? Whew. It was layered—and honestly, painful in ways I’m still unpacking. I was hired while caring for my mother in her final days. She passed just three weeks after I started. I entered that role grieving, still bleeding emotionally, and trying to hold it together in a job I wanted to believe in. But let’s be real—this job lacked everything I needed to succeed. This company reached out to me on behalf of my insurance to provide maternity services for me. I had my initial zoom call with Jenn on April 8th and I had my next visit scheduled for may 9th. I have now been trying for 4 days to reach someone. I’ve sent texts, emails, and left voicemails and have yet to be called back. I also called my insurance compan... read more

I had a doula with my first pregnancy that my husband and I actually researched and paid for. She was absolutely amazing. Very intentional!! Made me feel ready and prepared! She is literally family now. Than I met with the doula through cayaba care and it felt like a 5 minute meeting. No real intention with our first meet. And has been the... read more
If you're searching for a program that offers educational support alongside your OB visits, Cayaba has a promising framework. The Maternity Navigators, backed by a knowledgeable team of RNs, create an excellent support system. However, my goal is to raise awareness about some concerns. For Doulas considering this opportunity, I advise caution. Unless you urgently need work, it may be wise to wait until the company matures further. Currently, Cayaba lacks a clear understanding of how to effectively operate a Doula Network. Th... read more
