The Cave of the Mounds is one of the most significant caves in the Midwest of the United States. The cave was believed to have formed nearly a million years ago, while the limestone encrustations around it are said to date back over 488 million years to the Ordovician Period. This was one of the best Cave experiences we have ever had. Up close and personal. The tour guide was fun and full of information making the trip even more memorable.
Absolutely loved the ‘Love on the Rocks’ evening! The caves are spectacular- and lit with candles?! Forget about it! Wonderful live music, and angelic a cappella singers in the cave. Wine, cheese, fruit & snacks were delish, and all of the employees were the best. Not to mention the other attendees.. we just had a spectacular evening! Thank you!
