RecommendedI am an avid caver of wild caves and have a hard time passing up a trip into a cave. What I found at Cave of the Mounds truly is a jewel box. The formations in the cave have been wonderfully preserved and tastefully illuminated to showcase their natural beauty. I fully recommend a tour here for anybody who hasn‘t been there yet, regardless of whether you‘re a first time cave visitor, or seasoned caver!

The Caves are truly spectacular. We went with smaller children, and it was a wonderful time. The tour guide Adam was knowledgeable, and encouraged lots of questions and pictures. It is a treasure.
The grounds were lovely and the cave was interesting. Even though I had lived in Madison for nearly all of my 70 years I had never been there before. A fun and informative outing well worth the price of admission.
