Management is RUDE AND VERY DISRESPECTFUL!
I think this maybe a scam they allow potential residents to sign a legal lease (to lock them into a legal binding) then afterwords management reviews application and even if your denied they still say your legally responsible for the lease.
Mold everywhere, stained carpet, maintenance requests take forever and they don't adequately fix things.The mold in my closet was wiped with a rag and SPRAY PAINTED over. Heater doesn't work properly and gets to 58 degrees inside on cold nights. Some residents ask for money in the parking lots. Puke in the breezeways, poopy cat litter dumped on the sidewalks, pool looks like a dirty lake. Would not recommend living here. It is slightly cheaper than most other places in town but not worth the safety and health risk.
I love the apartment complex much more than on-campus housing. It's nice to have a private bedroom and bathroom where I can keep my room as I like (campus housing mandated that I couldn't put anything on the walls). I am overall very happy living here.
RecommendedSafe, friendly, quiet environment. The right type of amenities with a responsive administration made up of great people! Excellent location, especially to UVA and the police department. This is the longest established apartment complex on this side of I-64, on 5th street.
Somebody broke into my apartment and when I reported it they told me I can no longer renew my lease.
I’ve been living here going on two years. Love all the updates, especially the microwave. Shout out to Mitch in the office for always assisting with my many package pick ups. Even went the extra mile one evening to make sure I got a heavy item to my apartment okay. Thanks Mitch! Keep it up man! 🌻♥️
This place is terrible. New management is shady, they won't honor leasing specials that they provided, even with proof. Walls are super thin, you can hear everything from everyone inside the apartment, neighbors, and people above. There is a bug problem. They currently have 1 maintenance worker for every residence (but he does a great job). It doesn't feel safe to live here. Honestly, go to Eagle's Landing instead
I have been here going on two years, absolutely disgusted with the way "Management" treats the tenants. The management worker literally made fun of my Mental Health & the fact that i take prescription medication for depression/anxiety while she screamed in my face and intimidated me while my friends and boyfriend all witnessed.
