Personable and Caring-- A Place Like This is What Every Bride Needs! I had been flustered planning out my wedding and getting a wedding dress. Been to a few places to try on dresses and they either made me feel uncomfortable or totally ignored me (bad customer service). Here both women were very nice. Nice & Accomodating This is a very nice bridal salon with plenty of help and they definately make yo ufeel welcome. It is several steps above a David's or Bridesmart. They are very well organized and do not feel like a retail store. They have a lovely selection of stunning bridal gowns in tons of materials. The staff is helpful and offer great suggestions. Very happy customer! I was really happy with my experience there. Everyone working there is super nice and helpful. I made appointments both times I went in before buying and was helped promptly and attentively. There was absolutely no pressure to buy, tack on accessories, etc. Though I did end up buying a few more things later on and that all went smoothly as well. Not A Happy Customer! I usually do not write reviews, but I just had to for this place. My mom and I went in this bridal store a couple of days ago to look for my bridal gown. We waited forever before someone noticed us. We didnât say anything and the lady brought us the gown. There were about 8 other people in there at the time and only two staff members. Bridal Store Above The Rest Catherine Simms made buying my dress a very comfortable, fun, and memorable experience. I was previously looking at other boutiques and retail stores for dresses and no other store even compares in terms of customer service. Best bridal shop in the Chicago area I cannot say enough good things about Catherine Simms. It is the first place that I went when I was looking for a wedding dress. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. They gave me enough space to look around for myself, but they were always right there to help out with any assistance that I needed. I Would Not Recommend I did not receive prompt and reliable service from this bridal store. Catherine Simms did not demonstrate their knowledge and expertise in a positive manner. Their products are sold at unfair prices. The environment was unpleasant. I was not comfortable or at ease when looking for dresses. I would never use this business again nor would I recommend this business to my worst enemy.
Had no problems here... I am usually not the type to write reviews either, but after so many negatives I felt I just had to say something. As with most bridal stores, it is really necessary to make an APPOINTMENT to insure you receive quality service. If there are 2 people working, 8 customers in the store and you show up without an appt, of course there are going to be problems. Great little shop This is such a nice place to do business. I was able to take my time and the girls really helped me without being pushy. I am in love with my dress and I and really had fun with the entire experience. I would highly recommend this cute little shop!
