The dim sum is good here but be careful when you get the bill. My friends went there for dim sum and when they got the bill, someone at the restaurant added several stamps to make the bill higher. When my friend confronted them, they took off the items. Then, we were there and they overcharged us for two large dim sum items that we did not order. I have always eaten at Cathay House, every since I was six years old, and now I am twenty. I bring a lot of my friends and family here. The service was never great, but my latest visit was ridiculous. It took forever just to get our water and tea. My boyfriend asked for a Coke and did not receive it until 20 minutes later. When I walked into the Cathay House for lunch, the place was crowded and everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, waiters/waitresses, busboys, and ALL the customers, were speaking in Chinese! I knew right then that if you wanted good, authentic Chinese food, this was the place to go! I was not disappointed.
