I’ve been in counseling 4 times in my 70 years of life and I feel like Dr Kang has been the best fit for me of the 4. She is wise, knowledgeable, very compassionate and empathetic. Her mindfulness-based therapy was very useful for me in dealing with family issues, and although I am a practicing Catholic, I found her Buddhist psychology also very helpful, especially the parable of the two arrows. My favorite therapist that I have ever had.
Does not bill insurance correctly. Will not provide medical records. Extremely hard to get a hold of. Will ignore all calls and voicemails if there is an issue. She also was giving diagnosis and medical advice about a patient that she had never met, talked to, nor interacted with. Very questionable practices, I do not trust.
