The food was great, as was the sweet tea. Usually a must go when visiting Memphis. Received poor service from the server on this trip.
Haven't been here since I was a pre-teen. It was surprisingly good! And the waitress Nannette was pleasant and took care of us. Thanks!
I visited last week. It seems they've made some changes lately, even though the place was already good. Service was much better than the last time I was there. And they put more things on the menu. I went with catfish bc there's no better catfish in town, and I was not disappointed. Of course the hushpuppies were perfect. I got greens, finally. They never had greens before. And mac n cheese, which was also new. Both were awesome. My date got a pork chop. She liked it. I'll be back.
I thought that Little Rock had the best catfish until I found Catfish Cabin in Memphis. The fish, the sides, the hush puppies were all done right. Great southern food. Great service, too--not absent, not hovering, not interrupting, just right. Check them out when you're in Memphis.
