No heat. Bought and installed new furnace the same day from Cates. Installers worked till 7pm with a wonderful attitude. Much appreciated!
My technician was friendly. We discussed the air scrubber for the furnace and a new thermostat. He did his job quickly. He told me that Cates now offers plumbing and electrical services. All in all well done.
Cates Installation team of Joe and Dillin made the trip from Lenexa to Topeka to install a new system for my Mother In Law. Mom was impressed with the great pains they took to protect her home. She expressed how quiet they were while working. She mentioned how well they worked together as a team, both knew their jobs. 5 hours later her new system was in place and her heat was on. She was very pleased and can't wait to tell her friends about Cates.
The technician was on time, knowledgeable, and friendly. He completed the work efficiently.
RecommendedCates Service Company has been taking care of our heating and cooling system since 1992. Clean, polite service techs and great customer service and response times when you’re having issues. Great company!
I got quotes from 3 well known HVAC businesses and Cates was the only one who took the time to really check out my HVAC and discovered one of my runs/ductwork wasn’t even connected to the plenum!! They also identified that there wasn’t sufficient cold air returns coming back into the system. After they made these extensive changes, my house now cools beautifully.
Ryan and Nick installed my new furnace and ac system today 2/21/2020 and did and awesome job. They went the extra mile on everything, am so impressed. My advice is to use this company, because your equipment is only as good as the installers.
We were very excited about Carrier equipment and this company. Now 8 weeks later and cold weather and we have an undersized furnace that growls and vibrates and doesn’t heat the house unless the thermostat is on 74-75. On top of that the thermostats WiFi feature has not worked at all. Almost daily the thermostat just blacks out and isnt even available. How frustrating. They keep sending techs that can’t get it fixed and have actually dismantled features that were part of the reason we purchased Carrier. Save your sanity... j... read more
I'm a first time customer and couldn't be happier! I called for an appointment and less than 2 hours later my furnace was repaired. The technician, Mark, was super friendly, triple checked everything, and took the time to explain things to me. I highly recommend Cates Heating & Cooling.
