I have a annual maintenance contract with Cates and they have always done good work. I had to call today because my furnace was shutting itself off - with outside temps in the *************. They got a technician out the same day - ******* was very professional and knowledgeable. He quickly figured out the problem, had the part on his truck, and fixed the problem quickly. Great service from a great company. Highly recommend.

Cates is a scam company- they wont provide me an invoice for repair already paid for which would show what parts were replaced or work done.Jeffy-Boy in Cates office refuses to provide it to me, was condescending & smug and basically was an a****** in his refusal of my 3rd request for one.Cates was going to try and charge me $630 to install a $40 high pressure switch.Jeffyboy refused to provide me with the part # of the replacement part, which their technician took with him when he diagnosed it was bad while out on 2nd servi... read more
I just had fall tune-up performed on our furnace at home a few rentals. I've been with Cates Service for a few years now. I'm extremely satisfied with them. I suspected another company wasn't being truthfull with me, so I called Cates Service on recommendation of a collegue. Cates was able to squeeze us in the same day I called for a furnace/heat pump problem. Our technician was knowledgeable and helpful. He gave us information and options without being pushy. We are very happy with the service we received and will continue to call Cates!
Your service technician arrived on time for the fall inspection of the heating unit of or==our air conditioning system. He was very polite and knowledgeable about our unit. He did his work very well and explained every thing he did to us and Proposed we replace a very weak unit in the system so it would not fail this winter and leave us cold until it could be replaced. That is why I have been using Cates for 30 years.
They were able to schedule within 24 hours when my furnace stopped working. Offered me multiple solutions without pressuring me to buy a top of the line system. Would recommend to anyone wanting trustworthy and honest service.
