Our 13-year-old dog needed urgent care on a Sunday afternoon. After googling and finding this office in Irmo, we took our dog there and I was expecting the worst since he’s 13. The staff was competent, kind, caring, and made us feel at ease. They not only provided top-notch care, but were also able to provide payment options that worked for us.
We had to take our boy Bossman in and he had to be put down for his eternal rest. The Vet and staff were very professional, compassionate and respectful. They really went above and beyond in our hour of need.
RecommendedWe had a great experience at Well Pets SC. We had to take our cat either to the emergency vet or to an urgent care vet because we were worried about her. Well Pets SC is an urgent care vet. They were extremely nice and helped us and our cat. The vet and staff were good. And excellent alternative to the emergency vet. If I need to go to the emergency vet, I will go to Well Pets SC first. I highly recommend Well Pets SC.

Words cannot begin to express how grateful I am to all the doctors & staff at Well Pets for their excellent care & compassion for my 2 cats this month. I am so very fortunate a friend recommended them. The facility is clean & cheerful. The urgent care hours make it very convenient. The care the doctors & staff provided has been outstanding. The note we received this week after putting down our beloved Mojo brought happy tears. They deserve 10 stars!
We recently transferred to Well Pets because we were so impressed with the after hours treatment provided by Dr. Sheriden and the rest of the staff to our aging Schnauzer Molly. A week later, when we had to return after making the heartbreaking decision that it was "that time" for our Molly, Dr. Evans and the staff were wonderful. We just moved to the area and didn’t have a vet picked out yet. I’d been seeing adds about Well Pets on Facebook and I remember seeing that they were open late. Our dog ate a ton of chocolate and needed to be seen immediately so I gave it a shot and called them.
