My family’s experience with Castle Rock builders has been nothing short of deceitful and unscrupulous. We had choice to build our dream home with Highlight Homes or Castle Rock and we chose Castle Rock because of outstanding customer service provided by Sales Sales Manager Dolores Ordaz! This company cannot be trusted all they want is your earnest money and deposit on all the upsell's they make you do with the design center they upsell you to the point that your approval is no good anymore. Your loan is too high you lose your approval so they just keep your money. They have almost $11,000 of my money and will not return it it was their lender that set this up. Buyer beware!! We bought our house in 2015 and had several issues including a crack across tge whole wall from dining to living room, cracks in the tile, cracks accross the ceiling... the said its normal! They "fixed" the one on the ceiling hall bc the seam actually fell, but later when it cracked again we discovered the drywall wasn't even screwed in there. DO NOT EVER, EVER BUILD WITH THESE IDIOTS!!! They do not listen, do not take notes, deny everything they ever tell you they will do...I wouldn't let them build a dog house for me at this point - I cannot wait to be over and done with them. Castlerock is the very difficult to deal with once the contract to build your home is signed. The contractors they use are very underpaid and it shows in the work they perform. Their site supervisors are very overworked and have too many sites to supervise and the turn over is very high with the company. This leads to contractors getting by with sloppy work because the new site supervisors aren't aware of the previous site supervisors work completed.
