RecommendedI have had nothing but amazing experiences here at CastleRock San Marcos! The amenities are always clean and ready to use when they are available (darn you, Corona!) and offer a wide range of options on things to do. The units are exceptionally well cared for thanks, in no small part, to the incredible maintenance staff. Great place, great amenities, good price. Need to clean the back to make it look as presentable as the front.
This place sucks to say the least. Signed and lived there for two years. Countless unnecessary fees after move out. Maintenance never fixes anything after “inspections” oh and they don’t even let you know when they’re going in, they walk in and help themselves if your bed room door is unlocked. Not to mention the office is the worst of ALL. None of them are capable of actually doing there job! I know it’s cliche, but if u could give 0 stars I would. Do not sign here, they lure you in with nice amenities and good prices but it is a lie. For like 90% of my lease (2 years) the hot tub has been broken. The gym is super small, with only 3 treadmills, for as long as I’ve lived here 2/3 treadmills have been broken. My daughter moved in last week. The apartment wad no where near rent ready. The floors were filthy, her bathroom wasn't cleaned, the kitchen wasn't clean. the unit wasn't painted, no shower curtain rods and there were ants in the kitchen. Called the office and the guy I talked to was very rude. Filled out a request online and haven't heard from anyone. Someone showed up with a shower curtain rod and gave it to her roommate. They didn't even install it. Not real happy.
DO NOT move to these apartments. I have lived here for a few years and it has been the worst experience. There is ALWAYS something going wrong with the apartments and I'm not just talking about minor things.There are serious issues with the apartments that are not up to code and safety regulations.They are RAT and ROACH infested. 1. It is impossible to get ahold of the office staff 2. I was suppose to move in on Sunday, the unit they gave me smelled like drugs and I refused to live there. I’ve been saying at a hotel these last few days. This is ridiculous! I paid 6 months in advance.
Great place, shuttle needs improvement
Great place to live! Maintenance has been so quick on fixing things inside the apartment! Has a own private shuttle to TXST to make it easy for bus routes. I love the fitness room!
