I have been taking my various cars here for over 4 years, and have been very happy with the work and the prices. Would recommend this Repair Shop.
I will not be going to Castillo Auto Repair any time soon....maybe never. Prices are WAY TOO HIGH. Is he trying to get rich quick? Scamming or charging OUTRAGEOUSLY high labor fees to the customers is not the way to do it! A quote for a timing belt change is $1,300 plus parts at Castillo and $849 at Action Gator Tire (parts included.)...which one am I going to? You guessed it, Action Gator Tires!
Held car hostage and did no work – I found my Auto Mechanic!! (but not at Castillo's...) This place was recommended so I felt secure having my car towed to them. After a few days it was reported as being fixed, so I arrived to pick it up and paid $250.00. When I went to start the car, it would not turn over. It was closing time and I banged on the locked doors to inform them of the problem. Awful – We took our car in to be repaired on a Saturday. They replaced the alternator on Monday and said we could come pick it up. We got there and the car stalled three times in the lot. He took it back. We called Tuesday. The lady who answered was rude about us calling. My husband went over that afternoon to check on the car. They had only looked at it for only 30 minutes that day. He showed my husband 3 or 4 cars that had been there longer than our car. Wednesday, he still couldn't figure out what was wrong with our car. ... read more

5-star service for over 6 years--doesn't get any better – For many years I've taken my car to Castillo Auto. I have always had excellent service. I refer lots of friends and coworkers to him. Also, my sister takes her Toyota van to him, as he is a certified Toyota specialist. (that's how I found him--in the phone book under Toyota specialist when I had my Toyota) Not one person I referred has had anything bad to say, only positive. Excellent service for 4 years! – Good diagnostics, excellent service, and a very fair price for the work. This is the best auto repair service I've ever used.
Classic Con Artist – They said they would change my fuel filter and do a tire rotation for $35 bucks. They never gave me a written estimate for repairs. Then upon my return they said they didn't do the fuel filter as promised and rotated my tires for $35 bucks. What place charges this? Classic con artists that I recommend everyone stay away from!
Absolutely The Best – I found him thru the latino community grapevine and I'm so glad I decided to try him. I won't go anywhere else. My daughter also takes her car there. A resonable priced mechanic you can Trust. Unbelievable!
