RecommendedI always felt good about donating with Cascade, but recently I became aware that the management refuses to allow their staff to wear a mask, whether surgical, N95 or just a cloth homemade one. Imagine, during this COVID 19 crisis, having an employer at a healthcare facility refuse to allow their staff to wear whatever ppe they believe will help keep both the staff and the donor safe? I would still recommend them to someone who wants to donate, but only because I feel very strongly that blood donation is a very worthy cause.

Lovely people! They've always made donating blood a good experience. They host blood drives through my school, and it always amazes me how many people sign up to donate. Plus, I've gotten two cute tshirts from them!

The people are great, and there's never much of a wait. If you've been thinking about donating, go for it! There's parking on site so you don't have to park on the street. There's a big TV in the waiting area that you'll only glance at because you won't be waiting more than a couple of minutes. You get to kick back in a comfortable chair while you're donating. Then when you're finished, there's juices, chocolate milk, and assorted cookies and snacks! Think of how good you'll feel, knowing that you given the gift of life!
I recently donated (for the first time) at your mobile blood drive in Steilacoom. The staff was very friendly and efficient. I'm guessing less than 30 minutes from start to finish. I'm looking forward to donating again. Appreciate the wonderful, lifesaving work you all do!
