Myself and the kids like Cascade. The only thing that really sucks is that they close two of the bigger lifts at 4 & 4:15 even on weekends. This makes the main lift busier than hell and in turn wait a half hour in line. That is ridiculous for a Midwest park.
Cascade Mountain is truly a top rated entertainment destination in the upper Midwest. Admittedly it is in Wisconsin and as such is limited in vertical feet however the staff, patrollers, and ownership all share the same goal...safe and fun skiing. Whatever your competency level the Cascade crew will do what they can to ensure a memorable experience.
Great hill. I like how organized they are getting people on the main chairlift efficiently. The staff is upbeat and courteous which is a rarity these days in the service industry.
Lots of fun runs from "never touched a snowboard" to "full send"😂
Kids ski free if you have own equipment with paid adult ticket. Place was icy during some parts of season of 2018/2019. Still highly suggest you come out and have fun!
Cascade has friendly, helpful staff, fun runs and kids ski free. We always have a blast here.

All the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the day!

I have skied here since I was 5, and think that the quality has gone down for the price you pay per ticket. If you're a beginner, you can have a decent time, but you'll probably get hurt or confused navigating the hill. If you're intermediate or advanced, I recommend you save your money for LUTSEN Mountains, GRANITE Peak, or make a trip out west. Also, no "special" events or opportunities for "seasoned" se... read more
