I enjoyed my two days on the runs! The staff were more than helpful also. The snack bar food was pretty good . I was lucky and got a brand new pair of skis on the performance level. My biggest gripe would be the boots! The first pair I had were pretty much wore out and I couldn't get them tight enough around my legs and I had little control on my first run. This really hurt me for the rest of the weekend.
I love Cascade Mountain! It is where i learned to ski over 19 yrs ago! We came with our youth group last year and again this year. Staff was very helpful and courteous. However our tubing experience wasn't that great. Didnt like the fact that once down the hill you must give your tube to the attendant and stand in line only.to have her.give it back to you. Then once at.the top of the hill more waiting! Didn't seem very efficient compared to our experience last year.
Beutiful day to ski. My son & I were there @ 8:30am. We parked right @ the front offices. We got our tickets, rentals & were on the slopes by open (9:00am). Our only drawback yesterday was a lift was down for about an hour which made the line alot longer on the next lift. But for a MLK weekend, the over all waiting on the lifts were not bad at all the entire day . Excellent time & weather. We left the slope about 6:00pm. Thanks for a great day.
Great job on the expansion. Gets crowded after lunch. Get there when it opens to enjoy the slopes when less crowded. Cant beat kids ski free with paid adult. We go every year! Love it.
