This is a great ski resort for the Midwest. Lots of great runs and a nice new expansion area with new runs and lifts that just opened this season. More to come. We were here in early Feb and the snow was great! They have a couple of great lodges to grab a beer and food in too. My only suggestions are 1) get a few more gourmet/healthy food options and 2) I think all ski resorts need to start requiring helmets. Too many unavoidable injuries/deaths from lack of wearing helmets. Be a leader and start requiring this!

From Chicago, the 2.5 hour drive is worth it if conditions are good. Yesterday was my first time this season and I was pleased with the new runs and two new quad chairs. Good layout and friendly employees. As a snowboarder, I'd like to see more natural features like bumps and side hits and an expanded terrain park. Other than that, had a great time riding with my family. We're looking forward to going back.

For Wisconsin the runs are nice and a good selection of them. Saturday is a little crowded, but parking was organized and staff knew their stuff. The rental smelled awful like feet I don't know how they clean their boots cause you, yourself put them away. Locker rental could be easier too. Price was 100 flat for lift (8 hours) and rental w/o helmet for an adult. I need to buy skis soon this will eliminate having to deal with the smelling rental room and the hassle of a $5 locker. Overall would go again/ if I couldn't go to t... read more

Over all was a very fun day for our high school kids. My son was the only special needs child and had never skied before. So he got on the skis but never moved. But he loved tubing. One very big note the walk from where the skiing is to the tubing is a very long walk when you have special needs and sever health issues. Wish there was a better way to get there. Also we had one student who did get hurt, for the most part everyone did great to help get her medical attention, however I was VERY upset by one gentalmens comment ab... read more
