The food was good, had veggie enchiladas with chile verde,pina colada was too large to finish, overall a good experience if you are looking for authentic mexican food! The ambiance was too noisy for me, they had some live music too !
I love this place!! Whenever we fly into San Diego, this is one of our first stops. The food is excellent, the ambiance is cozy, and when the mariachi is playing, it’s festive! This is a must if you’re in the area.
I had lunch there with a friend Tuesday, 12/18, and it was delicious. The service was excellent. I will return, for sure, often.
Well, we went for lunch on a Saturday. I had enchaladas and my wife and mother had salads. I had two margaritas and my wife had a mimosa. Bill came to $71.00 plus the tip. Way too much for what we had. The food was good, but not that good. Come on, lets face it, you can buy a lot of rice and beans for $70.00! The margaritas tasted good, but lacked maybe,,,, tequila?????

Our favorite Mexican restaurant in San Diego. Every time we visit from Virginia we always make sure we have dinner at Casa Guadalajara. Great atmosphere, great food!!!
We live in VA, everytime we come visit family and friends in San Diego we make sure to come to Casa Guadalajara. It’s our favorite restaurant in San Diego.
The food is always great and the atmosphere is festive. Good drinks too. Parking can be at times a little challenge and there is often a wait. We go there often. The patio is dog friendly too.
Food, atmosphere, music were all outstanding!! Excellent evening and Delish guava margarita!
