I went to Casa del Rey today with my daughter today for lunch. She had the Seafood Chimi (as she always does) and I had the Chicken Salad Selecta. (I usually have the Reyrito - which is ALWAYS great!) The Chicken Salad Selecta was huge, the presentation was great, and it tasted wonderful!! Her Seafood Chimi was fantastic and huge! Mike, thank you for your comment. We always appreciate feedback. I personally prepared most of the orders with our chef last night. This restaurant serves "New Mexican-Style" cuisine ...It is my favorite restaurant in Sioux Falls...their green chili is green chile from Hatch, NM, not tomatillo based. Their red is much like you'd find in Santa Fe, Taos, or Chimayo. I grew up in Colorado and New Mexico, so this gem is on my top of the list... Even if just for the sopapillas ( without all the added trims) eaten with just a drizzle of honey.
