This has been the place I've gone to for my birthday for 4 years in a row. They usually have really good service. Yesterday, we went at night for my birthday and it was horrible! The waiter ( Oscar ) did not check on us at all, we could have left and he wouldn't of had noticed. We didn't receive any refills on our drinks or anything. We had mentioned it was my birthday and he just said "ok" and walked away. On all my previous birthday visits they had brought churro ice cream and helped celebrate. I was very disappointed. We went here yesterday to celebrate my daughter receiving her Masters in Nursing, and we loved it. I had been here before with my other daughter, her family & my husband. We really enjoyed it so we decided to take my younger daughter & my son-in-law, (their first time). They loved it. Micheladas were yummy. Food & service was awesome. There is one thing I wasn't happy about -- they close too early!! But other than that, I love this place.
Food is good staff is excellent a must visit every time we are in San Diego.
Took a while to order. Chips were good and the food was ok. Not the greatest but it wasn't bad.
The atmosphere is great but the prices for the amount of food wasn't the best. I got four rolled tacos and a side of rice the side of rice was 2.50 and it was barley a scoop less then a 1/4 cup? My husband got the carnitas platter over 16$ and it came with not enough carnitas to fill a flour tortilla I'm gonna stick with cafe coyote so much more food for your dollar. Sorry no bueno
Although, the hostess forgot about us and we waited longer than expected- I think that the view, atmosphere and great music- along with the food made up for the wait. ** Very nice outdoor experience. Will visit again! :)
