Would have given it a half star if that was an option. Went in tonight with my hubby and wanted a smaller portion than was offered in regular plates. I looked at the solo options and there were cheese and beef enchiladas offered. I prefer chicken enchiladas so asked the waitress if I could order one solo. She said no because there was a plate with 2 chicken enchiladas plus rice and beans on the menu. She made no effort to accommodate at all. I cannot understand why you can't get a smaller portion. That is our "treat" place while we are in Ruidoso. We love it and yesterday, as usual, our service was great.
If you go to Casa Blanca make sure you request Denise W. as your server!!! This lady was dealing with a table next to ours 9 snotty women and she smiled the entire time. She handled herself with class. Probably one of the best waitresses I have ever had. The food was great, but the service was above all other.
Lots of cars in the lot and the place was pretty full, although the pieced together rooms made it difficult to tell. Service was friendly and very fast. The food was above average and a very good value.
I have been going to the restaurant ever since I was little. It is one of my favorite places to eat in Ruidoso. I always make a stop in on our yearly visit. But tonight we had the absolute worst service of any place I've ever been. The waitress never came to take our order, we had to get the host to take our order and then we waited for over an hour and a half only for our food to never arrive
Food was outstanding. The service was exceptional. This is a must visit if you are in the area!
