Goldleaf Development wants money badly and is totally a nightmare. When we moved out, we cleaned carefully and checked everything before leaving, but they charged us for ridiculous things that were already there when we move in and didn’t affect use at all. Let me chronicle everything that went wrong with this apartment. Despite the claim that they clean apartments thoroughly before move in, my room had crumbs and food all over the edges and a pizza crust under the radiator. Lived here for 2 years during undergrad. Casa Blanca was my worst apartment experience in Madison, hands DOWN. As evidenced by the outlandish price for the age/structure of the building, limited amenities, thin walls, mice, & barely functional AC, it’s clear Goldleaf only cares about stuffing their pockets. As another review mentioned, Casa Blanca has mice. See pictures.
