Former patient of his Lexington Ky practice. He takes his time with you and explains things in layman terms so you better understand. He was my 2nd opinion when I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2006. If he was still in Ky, I'd still be his patient.
I was one of Dr. Twyman patients for many years until he decided to go somewhere else. He is very old soul doctor something you will never find these days. I miss him . Cause you actually get a doctor that cares about you and listen. I am now 45 years old and if it was not for him I would not be here. Cause he listen. Dr Twyman is no longer in Lexington, he is in Hershey, PA now with Penn State. He is greatly missed in Lexington
I don't know where he is right now, but if I did - I would switch back to him. He really cares about his patients, goes out of his way to find out if there's anything else you need to get comfortable or even better if possible. He diagnosed me and started treatment when no one else would. He even went out of his way to make sure I received treatment for my MS while I was in a coma from a heart attack for 3 weeks and couldn't speak for myself. I would love to know where he is.
I have never seen a better doctor in my life, I have seen him for many years, so did my husband, father, and nearly 40 friends that I have recommended and we couldn't have been more thankful for a doctor like Twyman.
I am an MS patient who has seen Dr. Twyman for over twelve years now. I am completely satisfied with the care I receive. He has always explained anything I need to know about how this disease affects my life and is generally concerned about my well being. I really dread the day he retires.... I'll never find another Neuro/friend who will compare.

I have been a patient of Dr. Twyman's since 2006. I couldn't ask for a better neurologist. He is very involved with his patients and I never feel rushed. He makes me feel like i am the only patient he is seeing that day. He is also one of the most knowledgeable neurologists I have met, and being involved in physician support at my hospital, I have met MANY! I recommend him to any MS patient!!!
Dr. TWYMAN has always took the extra time needed to take care of me. Very pleased with him as a Dr. And a person. Not easy to find a Dr. When you have MS. That Gets you.
