the up sell just got to be too much. I just stopped trusting him.
This dentist and his staff took months to turn my claim over to insurance. When they finally did it was incomplete (per the insurance company). A year later it is still in the process of being reviewed by insurance and the dentist has been of little to no help. Requests for information were ignored or only partially responded to.
Very service-friendly, nice offices, bright patient rooms with large windows, TV in each room. Jasmine, the office manager, could not be any nicer, they cater to an upscale crowd and make you feel special. All x-rays done electronically, monitors in each room. This is a very upscale-oriented office. Dr. Chavis and his partner also seem to do cosmetic dentistry so a lot of their focus is on upscale work. Professional and unquestionably competent. Dr. Chavis is a perfectionist. His clinical skills and practice are up to date. He effectively leverages available technologies to effectively provide direct care or to appropriately arrange specialty care by another provider (ie: oral surgeon, endodontist).
I was pleased with Dr. Chavis. He was very attentive. No complaints at all.
Dr. Chavis is always trying to "up-sell" to the point when I can't even decide whether to trust him on recommendations. He is very thorough though, so as long as you ask him questions, you can get to the bottom of whether you really need something or not.
good professional - but tries hard to sell more services than needed - my experience was very good though- my wife's not.
