Our first time in today. It was awesome. That's some good homestyle cooking. Like back 40 yrs ago. Everything was fresh and tasty. I'm going back for sure.

Cartwright's did an AMAZING job catering for 50+ people for the installation banquet at the Denton Elks Lodge, tonight! Marinated, grilled chicken, roasted potatoes, green beans almandine & salad. Reasonably priced & absolutely delicious! Not one complaint and numerous compliments!
Great chicken fried steak, gravy was yummy, Hanna, our waitress, was outstanding! The only thing not to my liking was the ice cream they served on the peach cobbler, but everything else was really good!
Sevice not too good today except for the regular customers that the waitresses know by name ...maybe if ALL the customers were treated as well as the regulars the newer customers would become regulars ...keep the wait staff off their cell phones and more attentive to their customers ...food temp was off today too ...cold biscuits and barely warm eggs :(
I went here for the 1st time today for my birthday waited over and hour before my food came out and when it came out pancakes were hard and cold and bacon wad raw even though I asked for crispy then they brought Mr burnt bacon. I asked for eggs very well scrambled they were soggy.. Terrible experience I will prolly not be back...
Worst food ever. If you want a steakhouse experience go somewhere else. It's sad people in Denton have to be subjected to low quality food like this
The food and service was very good. The atmosphere was different...close tables and loud, but they were packed and stayed that way the whole time we were there
Very good food ,worth the money. You get a lot of food .you will not leave hungry
