Really yummy!! Great portions!! And great staff!!!
Had a great dinner, friendly staff, felt like a real home cooked meal. We ordered Chicken fried Steak and the Grilled Chicken dinners both were great we will be definitely be going here again.
The cheeseburger is awesome! Parking is a bummer, but totally worth it!

Last night I ordered fried catfish filets only for my family to celebrate and remember the birthday of our husband, Dad and Granddaddy who we lost 3 years ago. He always wanted fried catfish for his birthday so we have continued the tradition. Not only was the catfish amazing, as usual, but the staff was so nice when I called to order to help figure how much I needed and the price. The food was great! It was my first time eating here I have lived in Denton on Hickory for almost a year. I had the chicken fried chicken so good and the Mac an cheese! Great! Will recommend and will go back.
It was our first time to eat there. It was seat yourself. We sat down at a table. Was not greeted hello by anybody like the rest of the people that came in after us. All of those people were given menus and asked what they wanted to drink while we sat there being ignored. I had to ask a waitress who section we were in she said hers and that she would be right with us. Instead she told another waitress and that one waited on us. It wouldn't be a good week in Denton without our regular trip to Cartwright's. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner...we love it all. (especially breakfast!)
