Carter Bakos Hays and Martin I used "Carter Bakos Hays and Martin" for the pregnancy and delivery of my daughter. I personally saw Tracy Hays and would highly recommend her. The great thing about this office is that each doctor is well informed of your pregnancy so if there is a reason for them to see you they know what they are doing. Even though Dr. Hays treated me throughout my pregnancy, Dr. Carter is the person who delivered my daughter (on-call) and he was AMAZING...very supportive and encouraging...THIS IS THE PLACE T... read more
Dr. Bakos I am in complete agreement about Dr. Bakos' rudeness. I was pregnant in 2003 with twins and had asked her if I was high risk and asked her to see a perinatologist, she told me that if I needed a perinatologist she would recommend me but that I was fine. I ended up having a lot of bleeding around week 12 while on a trip to Fl and was told by her nurse to go the hospital which I did. Dr. Martin I absolutely love Dr. Amy Martin. When I moved to Dallas and was looking for a gynecologist, she was recommended to me. Initially, I was seeing her for annual exams and when I decided I wanted to get pregnant, she became a great resource. She has excellent bedside manners and doesn't sugar coat issues. She was on call when I delivered and that made me very happy. She was a great coach. During my pregnancy, I was seen by everyone in the practice at least one and all of them were great. Very rude doctor! I was very dissatisfied with Dr. Bakos. She was very rude at each appointment I had with her. She made rude comments about my weight (which was only slightly high). When she delivered my baby, she acted as though she had better things to do and said I was doing everything wrong. The billing office was rude as well. However, the sonographer and the other doctors (and all of the nurses) were very nice -- friendly, helpful, etc. PROS: most of the staff CONS: Dr. Bakos & billing office.
K. S. couldn't have been a better experience. nice staff. Dr. Hays was so easy to talk to I felt like I had known her a long time. Her nurse Heaven is very helpful also.
carmenjmcc I am very fond of Dr. Hays. I was very sick Friday and wound up in Baylor Hospital. All of the nurses and doctors told me that she is one of the best in the biz and I couldn't agree more. She and her nurse Joanna are two of the most caring and helpful women I know.
Dr Amy Martin I've been visiting with Dr Martin for my wife's pregnanacy. We were looking for great bedside manners, intelligent responses to our questioning, logical cutting edge care and an overall comfortable experience .. we got it. I give her my strongest recommendation.
Dr. Martin is the Best! I have been seeing Dr. Martin for almost 3 years now, and she was the first gynocologist I ever went to. She always makes me feel so comfortable and never makes me feel stupid about any of my questions. DR. AMY MARTIN I saw Dr. Martin when I was pregnant, and she was SOOOOO CARING! I absolutely loved her. I had a very rough pregnancy and delivery, and she walked me through every second of it. She and her nurses were always caring, and acted as if I was the only patient that she had, even though I knew that was quite the opposite. I would highly recommend Dr. Martin to any woman looking for an OB-GYN.
