Went to him for severe sciatic pain going down my leg and in lower back. The pain was so bad I was crying. He did care, and completely dismissed me and my pain. Told me I needed surgery and he couldn’t do anything. He used my age and probably sex to discriminate against me. He didn’t care about the fact I already seen a surgeon and was told they couldn’t do anything. Just said he believes that I could get it, so he wouldn’t do anything. Dr Battista made me feel at ease immediately upon my first visit. He explained what my options were dealing with my medical problem. He is down to earth when he converses and listens. His office staff is very good and follow up when scheduling procedures. The Outpatient Surgical staff also are very caring. I am very fortunate to have been cared for.
New from fla. I'm a quadriplegic inc. He basically treated me like an addict. I need an opiod and he sent me to a methadone clinic. If he knew or cared about what I go thru on daily basis! I was very upset needless to say.
