Dr. Magnuson changed my dental outlook forever! Before seeing her I needed to take valium when I had an appointment, but now I have no apprehensions at all. She makes every step as painless as possible, has a positive cheerful outlook, and demands perfection for your mouth. She never puts any pressure on the patient to let her work faster than he or she is comfortable. Carrie knows her stuff and has terrific contacts with specialists.
First visit with Dr. Magnuson turned out more expensive than expected. They say they participate with Humana but they did NOT say they are NOT Humana preferred providers! The actual cost of the visit turned out to be $394 before insurance and Buffy the receptionist did not disclose this to me when I made the appt. This is totally unacceptable for a person who lives on social security at about $1000 a month! I was asked up front for $188 and then they tell me none of the xrays taken was covered! WOW!
