I had Dr. Carrie Landress. In the beginning. She was a top 'A' Dr. then she had other workers. That wasn't so bad, but after a while, Dr. Landress wouldn't show up to her office when I was her next patient to see. Dr. Landress would be at the Hospital moreso than be at the office. Dr. Landess if one of the few Doctors without a God’s complex. She is smart, dedicated, she listens and explains very carefully. She is soft spoken and incredibly intelligent! I will stick to her like glue, no more pain for me.
Seeing Dr. Landess was a refreshing experience, I haven’t met a Dr. who listens to me acknowledging what I say and explaining to me why I have this pain, why is hurting there and explaining to me, in detail, what’s going to happen while giving me various alternatives. She’s talented, soft spoken, incredibly smart and I feel very lucky to have her as my neurologist.
I was unfortunate enough to be referred to her, She is awful as a person and as a dr. Office is disaster impossible to reach.
My father was admitted to Jackson North for new onset of seizure. An MRI of the brain was ordered. But it was incomplete due to his confused agitated state and not being able to stay still. The next morning this doctor cleared him (mind you he was confused and she spoke to him in this state without any family being present.) I asked to speak with her regarding my concerns and her answer was “ I do not need to speak with anyone else I already spoke with the patient.” No bedside manner whatsoever. Awful experience! Impossible to reach over the phone during an urgent situation. Scheduled an appointment finally when I arrived three weeks later to appointment was told they did not verify insurance because they lost my ID number. Will never go back. Staff is horrible
I was cared for and taken care of. Dr.Landess and her residents were very smart and made me feel comfortable
The reviews on this website were kind of scary, but my doctor assured me it would be okay to see Dr. Landess. It was as good as a doctor's appointment could be.
The visit started slow at first, but it went much better after all of the paper work was sorted out. The understanding and care was appreciated.
