I was a patient at ACRM from May 2013 through January 2014. All of the doctors and staff were incredibly supportive, kind, and knowledge. I appreciate doctors who are up front, explain all the options, and try not to sugar coat anything. I always felt informed about my care and what options we had. Appointments ran usually on schedule so no problems waiting. We went through several treatment cycles with medications and one miscarriage before we got pregnant. During the appt when we found out we miscarried, the doctor sincere... read more
Dr. Carpenter is awesome! She worked with me for over a year and I just cannot say enough nice things about her. I switched to this practice from another large reproductive specialist in Atlanta and am so glad I went with my gut and made the switch. Dr. Carpenter, and the whole staff at ACRM, are super thoughtful, considerate, kind and patient. You will not be let down!
Of all the OBGYN's I've seen over the years (and there's been a few!), Dr. Carpenter is by far the most patient, kind, knowledgeable and thorough doctor I've ever seen. It only took her one month of testing to get us straightened out (progesterone and thyroid hormones were off) and we were pregnant the next month! I've been seeing her for the first several weeks of the pregnancy for my ultrasounds and I really wish I could stay with her for the entire pregnancy! From my experience, there is little chance that I will find ano... read more
My partner and I (we are a same-sex couple) went to ACRM for Intra Uterine Insemination after it was suggested to us by our Ob/Gyn. She had other same-sex clients who had used ACRM successfully and liked it. We chose Dr. Carpenter because she was the doctor available for our first appointment. Despite not researching her at all she was great! Always pleasant & kind & willing to explain things (it is a detailed process) over again if we needed clarification. I became pregnant after two tries of IUI; not sure if we were so suc... read more
My husband and I had a great experience at ACRM. The staff was helpful and available to answer any and all concerns and questions. They were compassionate concerning our struggle with infertility and excited when we were able to conceive. Part of me was sad to be discharged back to our regular OBGYN because I had grown so fond of these professionals that I saw on a regular basis. I would recommend ACRM to anyone who is struggling with infertility.
In 1993, I was having some health issues and had seen a gynecologist in my hometown. He prescribed nerve pills. I took them a few days then decided to quit because I wanted to get to the root of my problem - not just cover it up. I later went to a doctor at Emory. I don't recall the doctor's name, but I do recall his rudeness. He said, "Nothing is wrong with you." I left his office crying and immediately stopped at the receptionist's desk. I asked if there was another doctor in the group I could get an appointment with. She ... read more
My wife and I worked with ACRM for almost 2 years, and in that time, we were taken care of the entire time and both of our nurses were outstanding. It took some time through IUI and IVF but as we understand it, that can happen. They were very patient with us, answered all of our questions and guided us through the entire process of IVF and donor eggs. Because of this, we are expecting twins and the services of ACRM made it happen!
Dr. Carpenter helped my husband and I conceive after I had received chemotherapy treatment, and we had a wonderful experience at Atlanta Center for Reproductive Medicine. Dr. Carpenter was very knowledgeable, sensitive to our concerns and my medical history, and she brought us a great sense of comfort during a time when we were feeling really discouraged.
She is very knowlegeable about fertility and advises the patient on the best course of action to take.I felt very confident in her recommendations. She is also very kind, understanding and takes the time to listen without been a distant genius physician. She is sweet and makes you feel so comfortable like you've known her all your life. Her and the rest of the ACRM team are the sweetest kindest Dr's ive experienced in atlanta!God bless you
