2 stars purely for the convenience of the location as a broke UGA student - nothing else. 1. Management is rude and a scammer. Upon move-out inspection, she charged me $50 for rust which had built up on the overhead cooker hood. How could I have possibly caused rust after less than 1 year of occupancy? 2. Apartment is INFESTED with cockroaches. It's a nightmare. You won't get rid of them. 3. Maintenance shows up unannounced to perform work which is not immediately necessary. Stayed there for a year between 2022 and 2023. It was managed terribly. The pool and the laundry room (and the machines) were always dirty. We had cockroaches and mice at home as well as different types of bugs. The manager never returned to messages, she was also very difficult to communicate. She even let people in our home without our knowledge to show them around 6 months before our lease ended! She defended herself by saying I gave her permission, which I never did! I wasn't going to post anything but considering that this place has once again made my life very hard I have to say something...maybe it will finally get these people to MAINTAIN THEIR PROPERTY. So yeah bought tons of groceries hoping to have a great memorial day weekend. My refrigerator and freezer stopped working Friday night and I STILL CANT GET AHOLD of anyone from maintenance. The property manager, Debbie, was always kind and easy to work with. Apartment complex was very quiet and I was able to walk campus.
