Maria is my person she is the sweetest and always knows how I like my hair and beard done always smiling always welcoming and warm. Olivia is amazing too feels like home always love being with these guys!
Very disappointed with my recent experience. I’ve been coming here regularly for a wash, blow dry, and iron straightening — always paid $25. This time, the stylist clearly didn’t want to do my hair, was making faces, and didn’t even straighten it properly. When I went to pay, they suddenly said it’s now $35, with no notice or explanation. Carousel is a fantastic family owned business with great customer service at very reasonable prices. Cathy has been doing my senior mother’s hair for a couple of years now. She is kind and patient and always does an excellent job. I would highly recommend this salon.
Carousel is the best Salon in the East End, maybe Toronto. Steve is a master class of colour & cut. My hair is all grey and he does such a wonderful job of coverage & my highlights. These photos are after I got home and had my hair in a bun for a bit so it’s a bit kinky. You can see the colour & highlights though. Kathy is a sweetheart of a women as well. Horrible salon experience. I went there last year, and the stylist, Steve, was extremely unprofessional and judgmental. He ignored my request and cut my hair the way he wanted, relying on his own instincts instead of listening to me. When I declined hair dye, he called me ‘boring.’ To make matters worse, as I was putting on my hijab to leave, he made disrespectful comments, saying things like, ‘I just did your hair, show it off.’ Completely unacceptable behavior
