Carousel is a fantastic family owned business with great customer service at very reasonable prices. Cathy has been doing my senior mother’s hair for a couple of years now. She is kind and patient and always does an excellent job. I would highly recommend this salon.
Carousel is the best Salon in the East End, maybe Toronto. Steve is a master class of colour & cut. My hair is all grey and he does such a wonderful job of coverage & my highlights. These photos are after I got home and had my hair in a bun for a bit so it’s a bit kinky. You can see the colour & highlights though. Kathy is a sweetheart of a women as well. Horrible salon experience. I went there last year, and the stylist, Steve, was extremely unprofessional and judgmental. He ignored my request and cut my hair the way he wanted, relying on his own instincts instead of listening to me. When I declined hair dye, he called me ‘boring.’ To make matters worse, as I was putting on my hijab to leave, he made disrespectful comments, saying things like, ‘I just did your hair, show it off.’ Completely unacceptable behavior
Love Cathy, she is such a sweetheart. I got my hair cut here again today and it was just the way I wanted it. Highly recommend this place.
