John Austin tickles the ivories at this piano bar from Wednesday through Saturday, but the real attraction is the Carousel Bar & Lounge itself at Hotel Monteleone. It's a carousel and really does revolve - all the time. The music goes until late and the cocktails served are out of this world like the "Truffletini" which is a mix of Bailey's Irish Cream with liqueurs. The ambiance has a slight feel of a Moulin Rouge setting, with bold lighting and motifs.

I was in this hotel, I come 4 times a year. This time I came with my daughter to listen to jazz that is a minor. After 3 hours someone said we had to go, my daughter couldn’t be there, even though we were in the lobby and we didn’t see any sign that says she couldn’t be there. We weren’t sitting in the carousel bar because it’s for adults. One manger said nicely to leave but we still hadn’t paid so he said ok but to leave after. Amazing Hotel with a great location which is close to restaurants, bars and shopping but yet on a relatively quite street. Beautiful lobby and bar area. Wonderful pool roof top area. Rooms are a bit small but the beds were great and we booked it for a great price. I would highly recommend it.
