John Austin tickles the ivories at this piano bar from Wednesday through Saturday, but the real attraction is the Carousel Bar & Lounge itself at Hotel Monteleone. It's a carousel and really does revolve - all the time. The music goes until late and the cocktails served are out of this world like the "Truffletini" which is a mix of Bailey's Irish Cream with liqueurs. The ambiance has a slight feel of a Moulin Rouge setting, with bold lighting and motifs.

Stayed in December and booked through hotelbookings.com. The third party service collected my $607.00 at the time of booking. I gave my Discover card at check in to the hotel for incidentals. On Friday, July 24th, six months later, Hotel Monteleone charged my discover card for $512.95. I called the hotel billing department to check on why they randomly charged my credit card. RecommendedDespite the Pandemic, the staff at Hotel Monteleone has made every effort to keep themselves, as well as the guests, safe and entertained! I recommend upgrading to a room with a view. Our stay was fabulous! From the Valet to our waiter at Criollo, the staff made sure we knew how much they wanted to take care of our needs. We are making this an annual trip!!
