John Austin tickles the ivories at this piano bar from Wednesday through Saturday, but the real attraction is the Carousel Bar & Lounge itself at Hotel Monteleone. It's a carousel and really does revolve - all the time. The music goes until late and the cocktails served are out of this world like the "Truffletini" which is a mix of Bailey's Irish Cream with liqueurs. The ambiance has a slight feel of a Moulin Rouge setting, with bold lighting and motifs.

Well worth the inexpence!
I never feel I have been to NO without staying here. The staff is simply wonderful!

Great old New Orleans Bar. Grab a sazarac n pretend you are back in the early 1900s.
This was the only hotel that we stayed in that didn't offer free Wifi. They charged $9 a day which is ridiculous. The hotel was clean, central and the staff were nice enough but a expensive bottle of perfume which was left in a drawer in one of our rooms 'vanished'. The hotel could offer no explanation other than the cleaning staff did not hand it in. Would I stay again? Prob not, there are a lot of hotels in New Orleans that are nicer, less expensive and have better customer service.
